Graphic Communications for Fashion Industries- Part 2.2

A guest lecturer then came in to teach us how to compose our advertorials in terms of tone of voice, how to engage with the audience whilst still keeping it coherent and professional. We also had InDesign lessons with Dan that helped us with layout and the technicalities of InDesign. We also started brainstorming and visualising various ideas for our shoot location, styling, poses and makeup.

We then spent the rest of the week organising the details for the shoots- since we wanted multiple models we had to spend a lot of time making sure models were free at the right time to book out rooms and equipment. This part was the most challenging part was ensuring models were free, since we were very specific about what sort of face we wanted to represent our brand.

Additionally, the same week we had a test shoot, where a guest photographer came in to teach us how to set up the equipment needed for a studio shoot, and how to use this equipment for the best studio shots. Below is an example of the test shoot that we had done:
